Hi! We're Diane and Michael. We've been enjoying all Setúbal has to offer for 3+years now, so we decided it was time to say "Thank You" to the city and our community by creating a space for people to gather, express themselves, indulge in creative activities and enjoy each other's company.
We decided to GIVE LOCAL.
Instead of donating to our usual favorite causes like World Central Kitchen, Doctors Without Borders, or animal shelters, we invested in our community.Mosaic is not a business, there’s no path to profitability. We're simply offering a space for others to host activities/events/happenings that community members can enjoy.
As founders, we don't want to profit, we want to provide.

It took a year of serious energy, effort AND €34,000 to get here.
We’re not looking to recover any of our investment – it really is a gift and we feel good about it, hopeful and excited.
We’ve leased the space for 5 years and negotiated fixed rent. We have bills to pay, operating costs to keep going of course. From this point forward, Community Support is the only way Mosaic will survive, thrive, and blossom into its potential.
